Step 2. Complimentary Pre-Consultation
Once your pet’s intake form is reviewed, you will be contacted for a free pre-consultation with a member of our expert team.
During this consultation, we will:
Review your pet’s history
Discuss previous treatments and diagnostics
Assess whether your pet is an appropriate candidate for advanced dermatologic care
Explain what to expect moving forward
Step 3. Terms and Commitment
Before booking, owners are required to review and agree to our dermatology service terms and expectations.

Step-by-step diagnostics
Long-term management plans
This process ensures we are aligned before beginning your pet’s care journey.
Step 4. Your First Visit
During your first consultation we will:
Perform a detailed dermatologic examination
Review your pet’s full history
Conduct in-house diagnostic testing such as cytology and skin sampling
Begin addressing infections, inflammation, and discomfort
Your first visit focuses on gathering critical information needed for Step 5 of the process.

Step 5. Skin Stabilization
A diagnosis can often take time to be determine, particularly in long standing skin and ear cases that are complicated by secondary infections and inflammation.
Following your first visit, our initial goal is to improve your pet’s comfort and stabilize active infections before deeper investigations can begin.
This stabilization phase may take several weeks, and patience and consistency during this stage are extremely important for long-term success.

Step 6. Advanced Diagnostics
Depending on your pet’s condition, additional diagnostics may include:
Diet trials
Blood testing
Biopsies
Video otoscopy
Imaging
Allergy investigations
As information is gathered, a customized treatment plan is created specifically for your pet.

Chronic skin and ear disease often require ongoing monitoring and adjustments over time.
